Terms & Conditions

Bookings:

On booking, you are registering for an event with The Womens’ Pairs Golf Tour, also known as The WPGT. Bookings can be made on the events section of this website. By purchasing tickets for an event run by The WPGT you are accepting of the terms and conditions that are outlined below:

Payment:

Full payment of an event you wish to enter must be completed when booking online.

Cancellations:

In the event of the WPGT cancelling an event, a £15 admin fee for our payment provider will be taken from any refunds. For example, £200 of a £215 entry fee will be refunded.  With regards to any cancellations due to a national lockdown, Covid-19, then the proceeding sentence still applies.

Cancellation charges for players are as below:

- More than 60 days before the event - 50%

- 60-31 days before - 75% of cost

- 30 days before - 100% of cost

Rules:

The format of The WPGT is 85% World Handicap System plus the course slope rating, pairs better-ball, over two days of tournament golf. Pairings will be drawn randomly two weeks prior to each event. Requested tee times and pairings will be taken into consideration.  Players with a WHS of more than 36, can still enter, but playing handicap will be reduced to 36.

All entrants must be over the age of 15 years old at the time of the event.

Buggies are permitted for all competitors at all of our events.

The WPGT tournament staff have the final decision on any rulings and tournament decisions.

Handicap Certificates:

Signed handicap certificates must be provided on tournament registration on the first day of every event. Pairings who cannot provide certificates will not be eligible for prizes, at the discretion of the committee.  It is the players responsibility to ensure that they are playing off the correct handicap, failure to do so may result in disqualification.  The easiest way to have an up-to-date WHS is to download the MYEG (My England Golf) app and show that at registration on day one.

Dress Code:

Golfing attire is to be worn at all golf clubs. Ladies are welcome to change after golf, if they wish to.  If the hosting golf club requires you to change then all participants will be informed.

Prizes:

All events with over 20 pairs will have £1000 worth of prizes.  This based on recommended retail price, within the past 6 months. Events with less than 20 pairs will be allocated prizes accordingly.

Data Protection:

The WPGT understand the concerns about how data may be stored, sent and used by companies. We are committed to complying with all data protection laws (GDPR) and want you to feel confident in the measures we are taking to uphold your data privacy rights.  Privacy policy can be found on the website.
